The Sanctuary at Sandy Plaza

LOCATION: The Sandy Plaza - 1785 NE Sandy Blvd Portland OR 97232 (map below)

The Sanctuary is our theatre space at the Sandy Plaza on Sandy Boulevard. The building was built in 1943 and best known as a previous location for the Salvation Army -- which is now just across the street. Don Horn moved into this space in 2011 with the first performance in the space being "My First Time," a four-person-show featuring stories of first sexual experiences.

The space seats just over 150 audience members, with one wheelchair space in the right side - third row from the stage. Seating is pew-style and all pews are risen. Our entire space is wheelchair accessible, with a handicap entrance in the parking lot to the West of the building. Click here for the seating chart.

All parking is free if you park in the two lots allotted for triangle's use! There are two parking lots and any free street parking to take advantage of. Our main parking lot is located on 17th & Sandy Blvd (the West side of the Sandy Plaza). This lot displays signs that say "Permit Parking" -- After hours, triangle parking is available for your use. The same goes for the parking lot on the East side of our building on 18th & Sandy, adjacent to the Sandy Plaza.
